Art 3 Final Reflection
Throughout this year, my art and knowledge have grown an immense amount. This class has truly taught me so many new things, and I am so excited for Art 4. I have learned so many new techniques, terms, and art history and they have all contributed to my artistic growth. I think however, my greatest growth has been my love for art. This class has quite literally thrown me into the world of art and has made me so much more motivated to continue my works. If Art 3 has already tau

Awareness Blog Post: Helen Frankenthaler
For our Awareness post, I decided to look more into Helen Frankenthaler. Her works intrigued me throughout our studies in class this year, but while I was on my search, I found a painting that reminded me of my ABEX work! It is titled Sphinx, and it was created in 1976. I find it absolutely beautiful, even with the simplicity of it. The colors really grab your attention and while it may look simple at first glance, it is actually quite detailed. Process Post: ABEX Painting
This has been my favorite project by FAR out of this entire year. It felt the most free and moving of them all. The picture attached was when I was abotu half-way through our project. Sculpture Project
Currently in class we are working on our sculpture self-portraits, and it's turning out to be very difficult... I seem to be having a lot of trouble with my eyes and hair, but hopefully Coach Hall will be able to help with that!

Artist Copy Drawing
Today we turned in our final artist copy drawings, and here is mine! My artist was Andrea Del Sarto who was a very detailed artist, making his mark VERY difficult to recreate. I found that his mark was best represented on my paper in the pelvic area. Before the copy drawing... After the copy drawing!
